Additional Property Attributes

The subject property consists of ten individual parcels addressed as 3610, 3612, 3621, 3623, and 3624 Browne Street; 3622and 3634 Saratoga Street; 5102 N 36th Street; and 5015 and 5115 N 37th Street. The subject site has historically been vacant apart from several dwellings that previously existed at 3610, 3612, 3621 Browne Street, and 5015, 5115 N 37th Street. Holy Name Housing Corporation intends to develop the subject property into affordable housing units. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) has identified the following recognized environmental conditions (RECs) associated with the subject property: (1) The subject property lies within the focus area of areas impacted by lead and heavy metal disposition associated with the Omaha Lead Superfund Site. One of the parcels, 3623 Browne, has not been screened for lead; and (2) a historical auto repair facility is located approximately 318 feet west-southwest and upgradient from the subject property. A Phase II ESA is recommended to determine if soil, soil gas, and groundwater at the subject property has been impacted by the identified RECs.
