Additional Property Attributes

The site is improved with an approximate 8,050-square foot vacant, brick convenience store and an approximate 650-square foot canopy housing four out-of-use fueling dispensers and a formerly used kerosene aboveground storage tank (AST). Additionally, three out-of-use underground storage tanks (USTs) are located on the western portion of the site. Terracon will supervise its subcontractor who will be performing the UST system removal activities.

The site inspection/file review identified the following potential source areas:
- two 4,000-gallon gasoline UST;
- one 7,000-gallon gasoline UST; and
- one kerosene AST of unknown size.

Constituents of concern (COCs) for the site based on these potential source areas include Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs).Proposed soil borings SB-1 through SB-3 have been placed to assess the subsurface in the direct vicinity of the onsite AST. Each of the soil borings (SB-1 through SB-3) will be converted to temporary groundwater monitoring wells should saturated conditions be encountered during soil boring advancement.
