Additional Property Attributes

This is a 22.3-acre property in Lordsburg, Hidalgo County, New Mexico containing two municipal water tanks - a 1.5-million gallon water tank and a 2.5-million gallon water tank. The City of Lordsburg has plans to paint murals on the water tanks; however, the existing paint is sluffing off and City officials were concerned about the paint being lead-based. The Phase II ESA included an XRF survey and paint chip sampling. Lead paint was detected on all painted surfaces of the 2.5-million gallon tank. Lead Paint was not detected on the1.5-million gallon tank. The final report contained recommendations and cost estimates for the City of Lordsburg. No Phase I ESA was conducted for this property.
