Additional Property Attributes

The site consists of one 1.29-acre parcel that is located on the southeastern corner of Broadway and East 8th Avenue. It consists of a vacant, four-story building that takes up most of the parcel. The building is attached to another on-site building to the south called the Sears Building which is three stories and takes up most of the block. The site building was built in 1934 and operated as Gordon Department Store from 1934-1972. From 1973, various municipal offices moved into the building including food stamps, welfare, and Division of Family and Children. The adjoining Sears building was utilized for various governmental entities until 2014. Both buildings have remained vacant since 2014.
