Additional Property Attributes

Historical: The site's past use was a dairy farm. The current use is farmland for cattle. RECs: The ERIS Database Report identified the Greenbrier Valley Airport at a higher elevation than the subject property in the Spills database. Due to topographic positioning, potential contamination from the release of de-icing fluid type 1 at the adjacent Greenbrier Valley Airport is considered a REC in connection with the subject property. The ERIS Database Report identified the Greenbrier Valley Airport at a higher elevation than the subject property in the PFAS Industry Sectors database. GEG called the City of Lewisburg Fire Department on December 16, 2024, and confirmed that Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) has historically been used at the adjacent Greenbrier Valley Airport. Due to topographic positioning, potential PFAS contamination from AFFF used at the facility for fire training is considered a REC in connection with the subject property. A 500-gallon diesel UST is located adjacent to the former dairy barn on the subject property. According to the subject property owner, the tank is constructed of steel and was installed sometime in the 1980s. The subject property owner further stated that the diesel UST is currently in use. Potential contamination from the on-site diesel UST is considered a REC in connection with the subject property. Reuse: Property has strong development potential to expand farming. It is also located adjacent to the Lewisburg Airport and has high development potential.
