Additional Property Attributes

The subject property consists of four (4) parcels bounded by North 2nd Street and East
Broadway, with North 2nd Street to the west and East Broadway to the south. A small vacant
lot adjoins to the north and commercial properties to the northeast and east, parking lots to
the south, church properties to the southwest, and residential properties to the
west-northwest.
Historically, the subject property was originally developed prior to 1885 as residential
properties. The property was residential from at least 1885 to the early 1930s. One of the
residential properties became an undertaker from the early 1930s to late 1940s. It converted
into the WSE Motor Sales Co car show lot in the late 1950s and had a small temporary
structure to put cars under from around 1962 until the late 1970s. Burger Chevrolet Used
Cars took over the property in the early 1980s. It changed to Burger Chevrolet Buick Inc
in1995 and did not change until 2006. The subject property was sold to the Roman Catholic
Diocese of Lafayette in 2006 and was converted to a parking lot. The subject property is
currently owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Layfette.
Environmentally significant information pertaining to the subject property found during the
course of this investigation includes:
