Additional Property Attributes

Historically, the subject property operated as Logansport Creamery Co from at least 1898 to 1962. Two residential dwellings to the northeast and southeast of the Creamery were also on the subject property from at least 1920 to approximately 1981. The park went through renovations multiple times and added in playground equipment sometime between 1998 and 2005 according to historical aerial photos.
Urban fill was likely used to level the subject property. The presence of urban fill would increase the likelihood that shallow soils would be impacted by PAHs, metals, and/or PCBs.
Historical use of the subject property as an industrial operation during a time with limited or no environmental restrictions creates a potential environmental exposure risk.
