Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property consists of approximately 1.39 acres of land (parcel ID: 74-A-6) developed with two dilapidated two-story dwellings surrounded by grassy and gravel surfaces with patches of trees. The structure adjacent to Long Island Road formerly served as a general store and post office. The Subject Property is zoned Residential - Single Family. The Subject Property is owned by Clayton C Bryant Jr. and at the time of this assessment was observed to be vacant and unused. The Subject Property is bounded to the north by Long Island Road and beyond by single-family homes, to the west by Nashs Lane and beyond by a community center, to the south by single-family homes, and to the east by Norfolk Southern Railroad and beyond by a gas station and convenience store. Norfolk Southern Railroad has existed in a north-south orientation approximately 80 feet east of the Subject Property since 1954. From 1954 to 1982, the area between the Subject Property's eastern boundary and the railroad was used for the storage of unknown materials.
