4/25/2025 Ohio EPA: The Property is at 312 South Main Street, West Unity, Williams County, Ohio 43570 (Parcel 074-080-08-052.000). Subcarrier Communications Inc. currently owns the Property, which is vacant and unoccupied. The Property is accessible from the east via South Main Street. Three buildings on the Property ? one approximately 25,000 square foot two-story building built in 1940, two detached, adjacent garages, one metal frame, and one brick. The intent is to apply for the Brownfield Remediation grant for abatement and demolition. Williams County needs a Phase I and Asbestos survey to apply. The end use is for the site to be available for commercial development. Asbestos is identified and needs to be abated prior to demolition.

Fall 2024: Williams County Land Reutilization Corporation was awarded $661,514 for Cleanup/Remediation of the AT&T property. The project includes the abatement and demolition of vacant structures previously used by AT&T. Although the on-site communication tower will remain, the cleared property will be ready for commercial or industrial redevelopment, supporting local economic revitalization efforts.
