Redevelopment plans for the North Valley Public Library include either rebuilding at the current location or acquiring an alternate desirable location for building a new library for the Stevensville area. In either case, further cleanup of hazardous building materials at the current library will likely be necessary. Limited, small-scale abatement was conducted in 2024 to ensure safe ongoing operations at the current location for the time being.
