Former Use: The property is located within the City of Ionia and has over 100 years of various manufacturing, light industrial, and commercial uses. The property was originaly developed as a planing mill which manufactured blinds, sashes, and doors from at least 1884 through approximately 1949. The property was utilizes as a freight truck business and trailer storage from at least 1949 until approximately 1961. Dry fertilizers and fee were stored on the property from 1961 until approxmately 1982. Various commercial businesses including a hobby shop and tool rental business occupied the property from 1982 until approximately 1989. The last business on the subject property was a restaurant from 1989 until 1994 when the property was vacated. The previous existing building was razed in 2005. The property is currently not utilized for any significant or obvious purpose.
