Revised Phase II ESAs needed. Since the site investigation report was written more than 5 years ago, additional contaminants could have migrated from the EAF Dust Monofill area and conditions could be different because the EAF Dust Monofill area is mostly uncovered and subject to erosion. The EPA has stated previously that the areas already showed contamination significant enough to "score" on the NPL and therefore require remediation. Many areas of the properties have never been tested. (QR 3, 4/1/06-6/30/06)

Former Use: The property is currently owned by PECO and Mittal Steel and is located in South Coatsville and East Fallowfield. Negotiations for the sale of the land are almost complete. The property will be redeveloped to be used as a training facility for police, fire, and emergency service personnel.
