Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property is located within the City of Portland and was utilized for light industrial purposes from at least 1906 through the early 1960s when the land was vacated. From 1906 through 1918, the subject property was utilized by O.C. Elevator Company for various storage and warehousing purposes. The Portland Elevator Company utilized the subject property from 1918 through 1942 for various storage purposes including coal storage on the eastern portion and lumber storage on the western portion. A railroad spur formerly traversed the property along the northern property line from at least 1906 through the 1970s. The subject property was also utilized for fertilizer storage. The majority of the buildings were razed between the 1960s and 1990, with the last storage building being removed in 1996.
