Additional Property Attributes

The existing use is a non-conforming and underutilized property. The site is located directly across the street from a major regional hospital and has excellent potential to be redeveloped into a professional medical office building. There is demand for office space in the area and the potential to attract several doctors and create good paying jobs. 4-5 underground storage tanks were removed from the site in 1989.

Former Use: Previously a gas station and auto repair facility (1934-1989). Site also formerly included residences, a commercial building, and vacant land. Former used car sales lot, rental house and vacant lots, recently purchased by the City of Wyandotte. The property is zoned (PD) Plan Development District. Residential uses exist to the north, south and west. Hospital and offices uses are across the street to the east.
