Additional Property Attributes

The Cascade Dump is located along the North Fork of the Payette River between two trailer and RV parks. The property is surrounded by valuable residential property and the river/riparian area. A nonprofit group intends to lease it from the city for 99 years and develop greenspace and affordable housing. Phase I and subsequent Phase II required to adequately assess the risk of this proposed redevelopment.(PPF � Cascade Dump, 08/25/06) DEQ in process of completing risk assessment 11/12/2007. Former Use: Property was used as an unregulated refuse dump since the early 1920's until the 1950's. The city closed and capped the dump in the 1950's.
