Additional Property Attributes

The Ada County wants to swap land with other agencies in order to fill in gaps in the Boise River Greenbelt. The county hopes to trade this land for land to bridge gaps in the current greenbelt, thereby creating additional greenspace, riparian areas, and habitat. Assessment results indicate no need for further action or cleanup.(PPF- Ada County Weed and Pest Control, 8/22/06) The site was sold by Ada County in 2007. The assumed business name is Kiwis Equipment Sales and does business under Kiwis Welding and Repair. Kiwis Equipment Sales specializes in the sale of used, large commercial vehicles, ranging from water trucks, dump trucks, trailer dumps, etc... The industrial zoning and size of the property make it a good fit for storage and viewing of large equipment and commercial vehicles. Since the property was transferred from local government ownership to private business ownership in 2007, 11,233 in property taxes have been collected and distributed to seven eligible taxing entities for this area.

Former Use: Three Mile Creek Mosquito Abatement District (a separate legal entity from Ada County), of which Ada County Administrative Services is a part, owned the property prior to disbanding. The property is currently vacant.
