On June 29, 2006, a loan of 650,000 was made to the 1818, LLC to finance environmental cleanup costs at the former Kramer International Foundry Site in Milwaukee's Third Ward. The redevelopment has resulted in the cleanup of several contaminated sites in a highly visible area that was redeveloped into a 12 million investment including 55 apartments and 29,000 square feet of commercial and the creation of 213 jobs.
