Additional Property Attributes

The property is the home of the endangered Red-Cockaded Woodpecker. Native loblolie pines as old as 100 years are present. The property includes recreational hiking trails for day use. Located in the fourth largest urban center in the US. (PPF - W.G. Jones Texas State Forest, 3/6/07)

Former Use: The property has been a state forest since the 1930s. Oil and Gas operations were present until they were abandoned in the 1980s.
