Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The 21430 Michigan Avenue property was developed as a gasoline station prior to 1930 and remained in this use until 1959, when the current hotel was built. The hotel is currently vacant. The 915 Brady Street property was used for a gun powder magazine in 1839 and was remodeled for a residence in 1883. In 1953, the home was donated to the City of Dearborn and converted into a museum. The Phase I ESA identified the following recognized environmental conditions: 1) the former use of the 21430 Michigan Avenue portion of the property as a gasoline station and 2) the former gasoline station/open leaking underground storage tank facility located west of the property (currently Les Stanford Chevrolet dealership).
