Additional Property Attributes

The Caplan property is a critical component of the city's proposed police/fire training facility. The Caplan property was a former gas station with gas tanks and gas still in place. However, the gas tanks were removed as part of the assessment process in order to properly assess the property through the Missouri Department of Natural Resource (MDNR) risk-based analysis process. The MDNR issued a "No Further Action Letter" on March 29, 2006 completing the environmental assessment process. (PPF - Caplan Property, 9/26/2006)

Former Use: The Caplan property is a former gas station with tanks still in place. The said property was also used for a heating and cooling business. The property is currently vacant. (PPF - Caplan Property, 9/26/06)
