Former Use: According to historical records, �Tobias and Zeamans Junk Dealers� was listed as the first occupant of the Site in the 1906-1907 City Directory. The Site was continuously occupied through the 20th century by a variety of junk dealers, scrap metal and/or welding suppliers. Records from the Elkhart Township Assessor�s Office, Elkhart County Auditor�s Office and the Elkhart County Recorder�s Office indicate that ownership of the Site was transferred to Omnisource Corporation in 2000. A large building was removed from the Site between 2005 and October of 2006. The Site is currently vacant.
