Additional Property Attributes

The site is identified by the City of Boston as Parcel 1502100000. The site is a rectangular shaped parcel consisting of 0.05 acres of paved-land. There are no permanent buildings or structures on the site. According to historical information, the site was formerly improved with a building of residential use between 1899 and 1989. The City of Boston foreclosed on the property on July 26, 1988. The general setting surrounding the property is mixed commercial and residential use. The Phase I ESA identified no RECs associated with offsite sources of a release from State-listed sites. Based on reviewed information, no Institutional Controls are required at this time.

Former Use: Description: Property is a part of a paved parking lot located on Hamilton Street and owned by the City of Boston. The parking lot is comprised of the Subject Property parcel and the abutting parcel to the southeast located at 137 Hamilton Street. No evidence of USTs, ASTs or ground surface staining at the property. No evidence of historic or existing RECs are identified for the property. History: 1899 - Property was a part of a larger parcel. This parcel was occupied by three tenements. However the portion of the large parcel where the Subject Property is located was vacant / undeveloped. 1931-1964 - Property has two tenements on it. 1989 - Vacant 07/26/1988 - City of Boston forecloses on the property
