Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Property is a grass-covered, vacant parcel located on Woodrow Avenue and owned by the City of Boston. The Subject Property is an irregular-shaped lot surrounded by chain link fence to the north. The property is residential located in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The DND indicated that the parcel was foreclosed on October 10, 1985. The Subject Property is a vacant lot. Bernard Street is labeled as New England Avenue. The surrounding area is mostly occupied by vacant lots or residential development with similar multi-residence dwellings. A commercial building is located to the southwest and two-story residential dwelling is located to the west of the Subject Property. The former Congress Oil Company is no longer present but the potential coal pit and main structure are still located on the parcel. The former G. & G. Oil Company, Inc. is no longer present but small structures are still present on the parcel including an ice house.
