Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Tom McNamara owned the subject property from at least the 1950s. Beginning between 1950 and 1960 nearby properties were utilized for the excavation of gravel. Gravel excavation activities took place until at least 1974. In 1973, Mr. McNamara and occupants operated a bar/restaurant on the subject property called Little Tim's Cabaret. At that time, Mr. McNamara also operated at least two apartment units, stored construction equipment, and may have operated a construction company from the subject building. In 1987, Charlotte Art Glass purchased the subject property for the purpose of conducting glass-manufacturing activities within the subject building. Primary activities conducted by Charlotte Art Glass included cutting, cleaning and assembly of glass within the subject building. A gift shop called Goose Bumps occupied the northeastern portion of the building between 1988 and 1993. (PPF-9/11/07)
