Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property was originally developed with a public school, domestic science and manual training building, and laboratory in at least 1911. The laboratory building was razed prior to 1927 when a heating plant and coal shed were constructed in its place. The original manual training and domestic science were razed prior to 1939 when existing grade school building (building1) was constructed. The former public school building was converted to the domestic science and manual training building at that time. The building was razed between 1960 and 1967. The heating plant and coal shed remained on the subject property until before 1972 when the existing boiler building (building 2) was constructed immediately northwest of the existing subject building (building 1). The subject property operated as a grade school, followed by an adult education building, and Head Start building until late 2006 when it was vacated. The subject property has remained vacant since that time. (PPF-9/11/2007)
