Property Highlights

ALTEC Environmental, SBCR, the City of Shreveport, and Southern University, Shreveport, worked together using an EPA Brownfield Training Grant to train hurricane evacuees and local at-risk individuals who, when certified, were employed to remove the hazardous waste from the building. Individuals were renewed to renew a building which will help to renew an inner city area with a building that will house a platform to reach a model of renewal of communities throughout the world (PPF - Petroleum Tower, Shreveport, LA, 9/28/07).

Former Use: Shreveport Property, Inc. donated the property to SBCR in 2001.
