Additional Property Attributes

This is a home where the owners were arrested and charged with methamphetamine use and production. The owners are in jail, and the property was forclosed on in the 1990's. The Colorado Brownfields Foundation talked the bank into dontating the house to them as a tax write off. The property was not worth cleaning, so we performed an assessment on the property for methamphetamine and asbestos (we knew the cleanup was more expensive than the property was worth and it was going to be demolished). We demolished the property, sent it to a landfill, and are in the process of donating the property to Habitat for Humanity (PPF - Colorado Brownfields Foundation, 9/27/07)

Former Use: This was a Methamphetamine contaminated property which was donated to Colorado Brownfields Foundation as a tax write-off. When cleaned, it will be donated to a Non-Profit.
