The cleanup was certified on 3/31/2022 by the Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL), which oversees asbestos activities in the state. DEQ provided a $1 million loan and the City of Tulsa provided a $1 million loan for this cleanup. Reimbursements and match were split in half, so DEQ and Tulsa reimbursed on their loans with each pay request. According to the ODOL, 2660 cubic yards of ACM were removed from the building as well as 110,000 sf of ACM over the course of the abatement activities.
