Additional Property Attributes

Nigel Sparks is the owner of Flagstaff Native Plant and Seed. He purchased the property in 2001 and was concerned with historical contamination. Property is former railroad property and is bordered to the North by an active rail spur. Past owners and interviewees with historical information stated that the railroad used the property to bury railroad ties. One source stated that the railroad used the site as a washing area to clean out engines. Even though petroleum products were found at the site, they did not exist at levels that exceeded the Arizona RSRLs. No remediation is necessary at the commercially-zoned property.

Former Use: Former Railroad property still located on active rail spur.
