Additional Property Attributes

The site is identified by the City of Boston as Parcel 1701599001. The site is an rectangular shaped, vacant undeveloped parcel consisting of 0.06 acres of land. There are no permanent buildings or structures on the site. According to historical information, the site was formerly improved with a building of commercial use between 1908 and 1989. The City of Boston currently owns the parcel. The City of Boston foreclosed on the parcel on June 13, 1991. The general setting surrounding the property is a mixed use of residential, vacant parcels and small businesses. The Phase I ESA identified no RECs associated with offsite sources of a release from State-listed sites. Based on reviewed information, no Institutional Controls are required at this time.

Former Use: Description: Currently the property is vacant and not in use. It is surrounded by chain link fence to the south and wooden picket fence to the north. The Property is not fenced along the eastern and western borders. No evidence of USTs, ASTs or ground surface staining at the property. No evidence of historic or existing RECs are identified for the property. History: 1908- 1964 - 2-story store located within a residential neighborhood. 1989 - Property is vacant. 07/13/1991 - City of Boston forecloses on the property
