Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Vacant, grass covered city-owned lot that measures approximately 30 by 60 feet. The site was previously occupied by an end building of a row of attached, residential/commercial buildings. The building was destroyed by fire and dismantled. The site was developed since at least 1892 as mixed use commercial and residential. Prior use, as depicted on the aerial photographs and Sanborn maps, includes office space, barber shop, a store, and residential flats. The subject property is owned by the City of Plainfield since 2002 prior to that, it was owned by a series of private parties.
