Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is currently used for a used car sales lot. The property is located in a low-end commercial district of Johnson City. The site was previously owned by Howren Oil Co. and was occupied by a service station. The TN UST database lists two gasoline USTs installed at the site in 1980 as currently in use. The owner indicated to TDEC that the tanks were removed by Howren Oil Co. in the late 1980s and that the USTs were observed to be in good condition. No UST closure assessments have been conducted at the site to date.
