Additional Property Attributes

The subject property consists of a 1.2364-acre tract of land located at the southwest corner of Burnet Street and Cherry Street east of downtown San Antonio. The subject property is improved with an approximately 150 ft. by 210 ft. warehouse formerly used as the Budweeser Company Vehicle Maintenance Facility. Through the Brownfields grant program, this facility was investigated for possible environmental contamination. Due to the increase in funding by the Department of Homeland Security, the San Antonio Fire Department has an immediate need for a facility to accommodate logistics of equipment purchased through the Homeland Security Grant. The SAFD plans to utilize the building for storage and distribution of equipment, trailers and vehicles and storage of supplies needed by EMS and area hospitals. Vehicles and management provided at the site will support emergency response during a flood, act of terrorism, or natural, or man0made disasters.
