1726 W. Commerce is a site comprised of an abandoned gas station. The property is located in the City of San Antonio�s empowerment zone on the Westside of San Antonio. The owner, Mr. Paul Mauricio plans to relocate his company headquarters at this site, and redevelop the property into retail storefronts. The previous use was a gasoline station. The property has been vacant for many years, however, redevelopment in this area is beginning to occur. The city has implemented a community wide plan for the area and created the Westside Development Authority to help stimulate economic development.
