Additional Property Attributes

2223 Guadalupe St. is the first of five petroleum grant project sites utilizing the U.S. EPA Petroleum Assessment Grant. Analytical results for both soil and groundwater from the Phase II ESA revealed a historical release has occurred at the site. The city of San Antonio continues to work with the property owner, and has recommended the owner submit documents to the TCEQ and obtain a consultant to perform additional work necessary to comply with TCEQ�s rules and regulations. The owner, Ms. Rose Orosco Hayward, is a licensed substance abuse counselor and has plans to construct a counseling office. The property is located within the Avenida Guadalupe Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization Program (NCR) target area.

Former Use: Owned by the DeLaRosa Family; the site operated as a gasoline station and repair shop dating back to the mid-1940's until the mid 197-'s. Currently the site is vacant.
