Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property includes a Parocial School, a Convent, a dorm/garage building and athletic fields. The school closed earlier this year, but the Convent is still in operation. The school and convent buildings had always included these uses, since being built around 1913 and 1925 respectively. The dorm/garage was originally a woodworking shop and appears on Fire Insurance Maps in 1958. The property also appears to have been several properties in the past and now are consolidated into one. The other parcels held residences at one point and were acquired by the Sisters in 1951 and 1979. The main original parcel was aquired by the Sisters in 1878.
