Former Use: The site was used for car sales in the 1950s, as a service station from approximately 1960 through 1990, and as an auto garage from approximately 1992 through 1999. The site was specifically a Texaco gas station at one point. The City of Trenton foreclosed on the site on July 14, 2000. Several individuals owned the site from 1931 through 1999. The site was owned by Breen Capital Investments Corp. from January 20, 1999 through July 14, 2000. Former owners are all believed to be non-viable or non-existent. The site is currently a vacant lot with a former gas station building. Neither the City of Trenton current owner or the prior owner Breen [1999-2000] are known to have dispensed or disposed of petroleum. The City of Trenton has maintained paved surfaces, thus limiting exposure, disturbance and the potential for additional contamination.
