Additional Property Attributes

This property is currently occupied by a collection of buildings that the City of Baltimore has acquired through a series of actions. The redevelopment is being coordinated by the Weinberg Foundation and the Cordish Companies. The Phase I Assessment is being used to guide the demolition of the buildings. The bid documents for the demolition will be issued in early 2009 and then the redevelopment will proceed afterwards.

Former Use: The site is located in the central business district of Baltimore City and partially occupied by New York Fashions, a retail clothing store and warehouse distribution facility. The remaining properties at vacant, but were occupied until the early 2000�s by retailers including, but not limited to; a drug store, record store, and jewelry store. Prior uses of the site are unknown.
