Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property was mined for gravel prior to 1988 by Delta Industries and Jackson Ready Mix. After mining was discontinued, the ownership of the property was transferred to the mining company. After 1999 the property ownership was transferred to the City. The City proposes to redevelop the site into a municipal softball and soccer field. A Phase I ESA was performed on the property through the Targeted Brownfield Assessment program in September 2008. The Phase I ESA did not reveal evidence of recognized environmental conditions associated with the property and no additional investigations are recommended at this time.
