Former Use: Based on a review of the historical information, the site consisted of vacant land from at least the 1940s until the construction of the present-day retail strip center in the 1980s. Tenants of concern include a gas station and dry cleaners, which were identified during the regulatory database review. My Lucky Lady Fina, formerly located on-site, was identified as a TCEQ PST facility. Comet Cleaners, located on-site, was identified as a TCEQ IHW and DCR facility. Comet Cleaners currently uses petroleum-based dry cleaning solvents however, the regulatory database indicated the historic use of perchloroethene in the on-site dry cleaning process. The current owner acquired the site in 1986.
