Additional Property Attributes

The approximately 9 acre former public housing complex is currently vacant and owned by the City of Williamsport. The site is adjacent to an active industrial park which is currently negotiating its purchace for expansion of the park.

Former Use: The 8.9 acre site contains 24 residential structures, a community center and a maintenence shed. Besides those structures, the site contains paved roads/parking lots and maintaine lawn areas. The site had been used for public housing since the early 1970's and was operated by the Williamsport Housing Authority. The City of Williamsport is the current owner. Prior to the 1970's, the site appears to have been a low lying area adjacent to a large rail yard.
