Additional Property Attributes

The subject site is an approximately 8-acre portion of a larger 20.47 acre parcel. The site is currently used for the operations of the City of St. Louis Refuse Division's North Maintenance Garage. Operations consist of the general maintenance and staging a portion of the Refuse Division's vehicle fleet. Additional space on the site is used to store salt and calcium chloride solution for winter road treatment. The refuse garage is an approximately 58,000 square foot one story building. The incinerator is approximately 30,000 square feet and is no longer in use. A salt storage dome onsite is approximately 5,000 square feet.

Former Use: Subject site is the City of St. Louis Refuse Division North Maintenance Garage and Incinerator property. Previous operation of domestic trash incinerator for 30 years. Truck maintenance facility for 50-60 years. Site is currently used for garage operations for general maintenance and staging of a portion of the Refuse Division's vehicle fleet.
