Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site consists of one parcel of land located south of State Street, identified by the City of Springfield on Assessor�s Map Block 11110, Lot 0475 i.e., Indian Motorcycle B Parcel. The property is located in northeastern Springfield, Massachusetts across from the intersection of State Street and Hayden Avenue. The parcel is occupied by a single five-story wood-d brick building with a flat roof, and is connected to a larger mill building complex. The footprint of the 57,340 square-foot Site building encompasses the entire area of the 0.24-acre land parcel. Access to the Site is provided off State Street to the west. The Site was historically part of the Indian Motorcycle manufacturing facility, which manufactured motorcycles. According to the City of Springfield, the property has been utilized for commercial purposes since the late 1800s or early 1900s. The building was originally constructed in 1890 and has been used as a warehouse and distribution facility. The first floor of the Site building is currently used by the Indian Motorcycle Apartments management for the storage of maintenance supplies, lawn mowers, and construction materials.
