Additional Property Attributes

The assessment was able to facilitate the successful transfer of the property. The property is proposed to be developed as a dairy processing facility which will employee an initial 30 persons and eventually up to 300 persons. At the conclusion of the grant construction had not yet began. A minimum of 80,000 in private capital investment was able to be leveraged.

Former Use: The subject property has consisted of fallow agricultural land from at least 1941. The property is currently owned by the Village of Cass City who operates a limited gravel pit for municipal use. The subject property is currently utilized as fallow agricultural land and a small gravel pit.
