Additional Property Attributes

The project was able to facilitate the receipt of additional federal funding for the development of an industrial park within Mayville. During the time of the grant the first business has moved into the industrial park. Four new jobs have been added to the business. Following the environmental assessment, approximately 525,000 in private and public investment has taken place at the site.

Former Use: The subject property consists of approximately 22 acres of undeveloped and wooded land. The propertys topography appears to slope towards the Freemont Drain which runs through the subject property. The subject property is currently not being used for any significant or obvious purpose. From at least the early 1940s until the early 1960s, the subject property appeared to be unimproved cropland, except for the northeastern portion of the subject property and areas along the Freemont Drain which contain woody vegetation. A 1963 aerial photograph revealed what appeared to be the placement of unknown fill material on the central portion of the subject property. The subject property was unimproved vacant land from at least the early 1970s to the present.
