Additional Property Attributes

The Redevelopment Agency is considering the purchase of this property, located in the Bridge District (Triangle Specific Plan) area, a planned high-density mixed-use redevelopment area. The site is needed to install infrastructure that is necessary to advance the redevleopment of the Bridge District area

Former Use: The property was vacant until a wharehouse was contructed at the site in the 1950s. The property was purchased by the current owner for the operation of gas station. This operation ceased in the late 1990s or early 2000s, and four underground storage tanks were removed from the site. The California Regional Water Quality Control Board required the owner to conduct groundwater testing following the removal of the tanks, and in 2008 a no further action letter was issued by the State for this site.
