Additional Property Attributes

A Phase II was initiated under 2B-9611001-1.

Former Use: One of the two parcels and the buildings which thereon are remnants of the former Berkshire Cotton Mills complex c. 1870s. A three-story brick building currently occupies the Site. The footprint of the Site building encompasses approximately 60,930 square feet; therefore, the total area of the Site building is estimated to be approximately 182,790 square feet (60,930 square feet x 3 levels). The Site building is currently used for warehousing purposes. The first two floors of the Site building house consumer-returned items such as books and toys from major retailers. The items are stored on-Site until they are repackaged and shipped back to manufacturers for inspection and refurbishing.
