Additional Property Attributes

The results of the Phase I indicated the site contained underground storage tanks and aboveground storage tanks as well as being a vehicle service repair shop since the 1930s. The prospective buyer chose to do nothing at this time.

Former Use: The Subject Property is located in Foster city, Breen Township, Dickinson County, Michigan at W2498 State Highway M-69. The Subject Property is located on the Northeast corner of the intersection with Harry Peterson Road. The Subject Property has been a gasoline station/service shop since the 1930�s. USTs were reportedly replaced in 1998 with a single, multi-compartment UST. While the tank replacement revealed no contamination, the presence of the vent pipes cut off at ground level indicate the piping was not all properly disposed of when the tanks were removed. The station and the residence to the east were on a common parcel. The station has been subdivided off for this sale. The station remained operating until 2006. The property was sold to the Runsat Family and the UST is currently registered in Mr. Runsats name. Also on the property are three (3) tanks on site prior to a 1998 upgrade: a 1050-gallon diesel tank, a 550-gallon gasoline tank, and a 1050-gallon gasoline tank.
