Former Use: Site appears to have been vacant and undeveloped since at least 1938. The same family has owned the property since the early 1900s. Service stations exist on adjacent property to the east 1520 N. Bryant Ave and two blocks to the north Tom�s Food � 1715 N Bryant Ave. Additionally, there are three large bulk oil storage tanks, and oil well, and other oil/gas field equipment located immediately to the southeast of the property. Petroleum storage on adjacent properties could have resulted in impacts to environmental media at the site. The non-profit prospective purchaser is proposing to use the property to construct an education-based social enterprise focusing on children in a disadvantaged area of the city. Property was zoned residential in 1956.
