The Grantee successfully leveraged the $200,000 EPA grant to secure more than $28M in construction financing. The Grantee currently completed over 50% of construction on 86 units of affordable housing in a formerly industrial area. On the adjoining site, the Grantee used another EPA grant to clean a former truck washing site that is now being transformed into 74 units of market-rate, for-sale housing. (PPF, 9/28/06)
